THE CHALLENGE
Japan Student Association (University of Minnesota) aimed to promote Japanese culture on campus while strengthening engagement with both Japanese and non-Japanese students. The challenge was to increase visibility, build a connected community, and communicate events and cultural initiatives in a way that felt accessible and engaging to the wider student body.
CREATIVE APPROACH
Led social media strategy, growing followers by 66% through targeted, engaging content designed to highlight events and cultural experiences in real time. Managed photography, editing, and graphic design while collaborating with student organizations to create cohesive, on-brand campaigns that strengthened community engagement and campus presence.
